In-Person Sangha Returns!

8/3/2021

First Sitting- Remote on TV
WALKING MEDITATION
50 " TV - Great Viewing of Remote Attendees
An In-Person & Hybrid Sangha Starting July 27

The Tuesday Night Sangha has met weekly for many years at the Church of the Redeemer in Squirrel Hill. With great joy, 11 members of the Sangha were able to return to that blessed space for the first time since the coronavirus began in March 2020.  July 27, 2021 was an exciting evening as it was also our Inaugural Hybrid sitting, where 6 other Sangha members were joining in remotely from around the region and even from Mexico.  The enthusiasm was very high, and the Dharma Sharings were especially deep that evening. Our large bell sounded beautiful!  A huge Thank You to Chad Daversa for our excellent Tech Support and these photographs.  (click photo to enlarge).

And, Impermanence is a core tenet of our teaching and Practice. What was good (for safety purposes) on July 27, 2021 has already changed; beginning Tuesday, August 3, 2021, we will be wearing masks as we sit together in Redeemer’s Parish Hall.  Allegheny County has exceeded the CDC threshold of 50 new cases/day, with a rate of 58.47 per 100k on August 3rd.  Masks are now required to be worn indoors for all gatherings, whether attendees are vaccinated or not.  To see our full COVID Policy,  please read here.

One thing that does not change, however, is our joy and excitement to be together as a Sangha, whether in-person or online. Stay Tuned for future announcements.  Stay Safe and Stay Fresh.
