Dearest Sangha:
In a true illustration of our interbeing nature, we are aware that gathering and connecting in-person would place many of us at risk of grave illness. All things are impermanent, and until this passes we have chosen to practice and connect virtually.
Our Tuesday night sittings will continue in an on-line or telephone format. Our South Hills Monday Night Sangha is also invited to attend the Tuesday sessions. We have also canceled our spring retreat, but will have some form of a Day of Mindfulness on May 9th (TBD).
We know that many of you are staying home, without even the contacts that work or school would provide. With great kindness and concern, we ask you to avoid isolating yourself.
Please use the directions you will below to join us in our virtual practice sessions on Tuesday nights from 7:00 - 9:00 PM.

You can join via devices which have cameras & microphones (desktop computers; laptops; iPad or Smart Phones); or you can simply dial-in and participate by phone. Getting into the online session is as easy as clicking on a ZOOM login link, or by phoning-in and adding the Meeting ID when prompted. NOTE: If you have NOT been on a ZOOM call with any group, you will be prompted to download the application onto your device. On calls thereafter you will come directly into the session.
ZOOM also has a helpful Joining-a-Meeting instruction with short video. Please read through that before joining the call, and be sure to click on the Email icon, under Prerequisites (to see full instruction), as email will be our primary portal for you to connect.
These detailed instructions about Controls within the meeting can help you navigate and also open and close your cameras and microphones. Controls will be found on different locations on specific devices, so click on the device icon in the article for exact instructions, e.g. with an Android phone.
WATCH FOR OUR EMAILS WITH LOGIN LINKS AND PASSWORD ON TUESDAY MORNINGS! ZOOM has exploded from 20 million users to more than 300 million in just weeks due to the coronavirus, so we are now required to use passwords, and are strongly encouraged to create a distinct Login link for each Tuesday; our recurring link will no longer work.
NOTE: Please login 5-10 minutes early to help us start smoothly at 7:00 PM.
If you have questions, Please email George Hoguet: [email protected]
