Teachings from the 2018 Fall Retreat
Day 1 Dharma Talk - " What is keeping you from Happiness?"  -
In this 63-minute talk,  Dharmacarya Tony Silvestre  opens with this powerful question. His talk, the first since his stroke in 2016,  was vintage Tony - simple, reflective, powerful.  Dharma Teacher Chan Huy continues with the Discourse on Happiness as it speaks to our daily lives.
Day 2 Dharma Talk - " Crystal Clear Diamond Sutra"
in this 65 - minute talk, Chan Huy continued with the Discourse on Happiness, looking deeply at each answer the Buddha had given to the question, "Tathagata, please tell us,  What are the greatest blessings that bring about a peaceful and a happy life?"
(video version of this talk is below)

Day  3 Dharma Talk - " This is the Greatest Happiness"
With apologies for the poor quality of this recording due to equipment issues.
In this extended, 85-minute Dharma Talk, Chan Huy invites each person to look deeply at the daily practices that arise from the Buddha's teachings on Right View and on Happiness.
A Delightful Surprise:  Retreat Attendee, Doug  Daegele, brought along his hammer dulcimer,  and accompanied  the Sangha singing a version of the Metta Sutra to the tune of Amazing Grace.
