Please Join Us for a Morning of Meditation (MOM) - Just in time for Mother's Day

In these days of the Cornavirus pandemic, we find ourselves in circumstances that none of us could have imagined a few short months ago, giving rise to fear, anxiety, and uncertainty. Mindfulness practice can help us not to lose ourselves in these strong emotions, allowing us to remain open hearted and resilient in times of unprecedented change.

Our morning program will be led by members of Thich Nhat Hanh's Order of Interbeing, with a live-streaming Dharma Talk given by Dharmacharya Chu Chan Huy, a senior Teacher ordained directly by Thich Nhat Hanh. The morning will also include sitting and walking meditation, gentle movement, and sharing in small groups. Beginners and seasoned practitioners alike can benefit from the collective energy of peace and well being.

Register here.   We will meet online, via ZOOM, and a Confirmation email with the log-in link will be sent before May 8th.

Registration is FREE.  Any donations for our Teacher are greatly appreciated. Our Dharma teachers follow a long tradition of offering the Buddha’s teachings without charge, as these teachings are priceless. As part of this tradition, those receiving the teachings also help support the teacher. Please consider, if you are able, to make a donation according to your means and the value you feel you have received.  Suggested Dana is $20.  Donations can be made at:  laughingrivers.org/donation.html.

May All be Safe and Well.  _(())_
